Amendment No. 2 to PFC Application No. 5

Public Notice of Intent to File a Passenger Facility Charge Application at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport located in Chattanooga, TN

Effective: January 9, 2019

Pursuant to CFR 158.24, the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (“CMAA”), owner and operator of the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (“Airport”), hereby provides public notice of the CMAA’s intention to file an application to amend a Passenger Facility Charge (“PFCs”) application (“Amendment No. 2 to PFC Application No. 5”) at the Airport.
This action is necessary to amend the project cost of certain projects contained in PFC Application No. 5 and to change the scope of one project, PWE 5.22 Runway 2/20 Edge Light Replacement. The latter action requires public notice.

The CMAA is currently collecting $7,969,956 in PFC revenue. This PFC revenue, along with Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) Airport Improvement Program grants, TN Department of Transportation Division of Aviation grants are being used to fund 30 projects approved by the FAA August 7, 2012. All of the projects are being funded on a pay-as-you-go basis.

The following sets forth the PWEs included in Amendment No. 2 to PFC Application No. 5, including a description and justification of the project requiring public notice, and the estimated total PFC revenue the CMAA will use for each project.

Public Notice of Intent to File a Passenger Facility Charge Application at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport located in Chattanooga, TN

Effective: January 9, 2019
Pursuant to CFR 158.24, the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (“CMAA”), owner and operator of the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (“Airport”), hereby provides public notice of the CMAA’s intention to file an application to impose and use Passenger Facility Charges (“PFCs”) at the Airport (“PFC Application No. 7”) to fund, in whole or in part, certain PFC-eligible Airport Improvements.
The CMAA intends to fund 18 PFC eligible Project Work Elements (“PWEs”) with a combination of Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) Airport Improvement Program (“AIP”) grants and PFC revenues. All of the projects will be funded on a pay-as-you-go basis. The following sets forth the PWEs included in PFC Application No. 7, including a description of the projects, justification for the projects, and the estimated total PFC revenue the CMAA will use for each project.
