Chattanooga Airport Now Offering Mobile Payment Option for Airport Parking

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 4, 2016) – Chattanooga Airport announced today that it has implemented mobile payment solution Parkmobile to enhance its current parking structure and make parking at Chattanooga Airport even easier than it was before. Parkmobile’s mobile application will allow motorists to use their mobile phones to pay for parking in approximately 1300 spaces in the three airport parking lots.

“Our passengers are constantly telling us what a positive, convenient experience our parking is for them and how it is one of the major reasons they choose to fly out of Chattanooga. This mobile app will definitely enhance that experience,” said Airport President and CEO, Terry Hart. “We are pleased to partner with Parkmobile, which already manages this same service in downtown Chattanooga.”

Parkmobile’s mobile payment system is easy to use and is available for iPhone, Android, Windows, Amazon, and Blackberry devices. Customers first must register by downloading the mobile app in their phone’s app store or online at Once registered, they may use the mobile app, Internet, or toll-free number to pay for parking. After setting up their account, customers can immediately start using the system with their registered mobile phone. All parking receipts and history are stored in the app, as well as emailed to customers.

“We are very much looking forward to expanding our footprint in Chattanooga by offering our mobile payments solution in all of the airport parking lots,” said Jon Ziglar, CEO of Parkmobile, LLC. “Parkmobile has been extremely successful and well-received since our launch in the city, and we are excited to broaden our services so that we can further enhance the customer parking experience.”

Parkmobile’s mobile payment solution is an added payment option and is intended to complement existing parking payment options. All existing forms of payment will remain in place.
