Part Time Dispatcher
The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (CMAA) is seeking a part time Dispatcher to perform tasks for the daily operation of the airport's Communications Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring the airport's access control security system, radio communications and telephone calls, providing information to each airport operating department regarding any service failures or requests, maintaining a log of all calls for service, and communicating with local 911 centers for outside emergency assistance. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid state driver's license and successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal history check and employment history check. Weekend and holiday work required. Starting salary is $10.40 per hour. This position will work from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. three nights per week. Airport Safety Specialist
The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (CMAA) is seeking to fill the position of Airport Safety Specialist. General duties include aircraft rescue firefighting and emergency medical care. Related duties include emergency disaster response, emergency medical services, operating and maintaining firefighting equipment, and other related work. Primarily focuses on the safety at the airport which includes responding to aircraft emergencies as an Airport Rescue Firefighter, or maintaining the operational safety of the airfield as an Operations Specialist. Airport certification preferred, Firefighter I, II, or Emergency Medical Responder certifications, required, High school diploma or equivalent required. Annual salary of $30,350.00.
