The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (CMAA) is seeking a full time Janitor/Maintenance Specialist to perform janitorial duties for the Terminal Building and related areas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs; clean and sanitize restroom facilities; restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas; empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary; maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner; maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition; proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals; wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times; general maintenance of grounds; general knowledge in the use of hand/trade tools, electrical, plumbing, carpentry; functions to include mowing, landscaping, tractor operation, operation of snow removal equipment, ladder climbing and preventive maintenance of building systems such as the changing of light bulbs, painting and general building repair; providing support for maintenance and technicians other routine maintenance duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager. The position also requires immediate return to duty in the event of airport emergencies during “off duty” hours. Specialist must have availability to report as needed for any irregular operation of emergency. High school diploma or equivalent required. Four years progressive general maintenance and or custodial experience required. Must have a valid state driver’s license and successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal history check and employment history check. Weekend and holiday work required. Airport Police Officer
The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (CMMA) is seeking to fill the position of Airport Police Officer. The primary responsibility of the Airport Police Officer is to provide a safe, secure, and lawful environment for customers and tenants of the Chattanooga Airport. General duties include but are not limited to, enforcement of all local, state laws, and internal and external customer assistance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong professional written and verbal communications skills, and exhibit high standards of professional ethics, tact and courtesy in dealing with both internal and external customers.
