Airlines Announces New Service
Between Detroit and Chattanooga

EAGAN, Minn. – (February 18, 2008) – Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) announced
today it will offer daily nonstop service from its Detroit World Gateway to
Chattanooga, Tennessee beginning June 5, 2008.
Northwest flight 2925 will depart Detroit at 7:10 p.m. and arrive in
Chattanooga at 8:45 p.m.
Northwest flight 2924 will depart Chattanooga at 7:10 a.m. and will arrive
in Detroit at 9:20 a.m.
The new Detroit-Chattanooga service will be operated by Northwest Airlink
partner Pinnacle Airlines using 50-seat CRJ-200 aircraft.

“Northwest Airlines is excited to be adding Chattanooga
service to our portfolio of nonstop destinations from our hub in Detroit,” said
Dennis Newman, vice president of network planning and scheduling. “This new
route allows us to offer our Chattanooga customers convenient connecting service
to more than 150 destinations throughout our system via one of the best hub
facilities in the world.”
Northwest is offering 1,000 WorldPerks Bonus Miles for
roundtrip travel between Detroit and Chattanooga from June 5 through July 15,
